CLASSICAL CIVILISATION
In Years 10 and 11 students can opt to study for a GCSE in Classical Civilisation. Students study the classical world, its achievements, events, and customs in context. We study two literary sources from Greek and Roman authors and two further archaeological-historical topics concerned with both civilisations. The coursework component is Roman Social life in the 1st Century A.D.
