Yr 4 lead the Founder’s Day Mass

This year it was the turn of Year 4 to lead our Founder’s day Mass. They acted out the story of the Founder – it had never been done before.27th.Nov Clown (140)

Founder’s day

Charlton children had a wonderful time on Founder’s Day as they played the year 6 games and, thanks to Father Michael’s birthday celebrations, were visited by Crazy M, the clown. The smiles on their faces tell the whole story.27th.Nov Clown (109)27th.Nov Clown (205)27th.Nov Clown (143)

Advent Festival of Music and Readings

 advent (140)

It was an absolute pleasure to see the broad array of talent on display at this years advent festival. From REM to Chopin the students from St Mary’s College and Charlton House produced one of our best festivals yet! With Orchestral, Band and individual performances, there was something there to entertain everyone. Thanks must go to Brother James for all his hard work in organising and rehearsing the students. Thanks also to all the staff and members of the Parents Association who made contributions to the show itself or behind the scenes with the interval buffet.

- Jean de La Mennais

Form 8 helped the College celebrate this years Founders Day Mass with a re-enactment of the events in the the life of Jean de la Mennais. This mirrors similar events that take place within the global network of Mennasian schools. More details about the life of our Founder can be found on the Brothers website at:
