A busy start to the Holiday!

drums (1)

We may have broken up for the holidays but there abound plenty of activities-thanks to our dedicated Staff. Charlton continues with its successful Holiday Club. Yoga, safe-cycling lessons, and learning how to address drums from Ghana are just a few items on the fortnightly programme. While much of the College gets a repaint there are still activities to be had. Mr. Rolph has a full house for Warhammer and Dr. Jackson continued to raise an interest in Yu-Gi-Oh.

Year 6 Induction Day 2012

entry sept12 (93)

Year 6 spent a rather wet but interesting day at the College, sampling Art, Drama, French, Geography and Games. The students responded well and were clearly already enjoying each others company. Students from year 10 supported the students throughout and related their positive experiences at the College. Well done to all our year 6 – we look forward to seeing you all in September.

St Mary’s Summer Concert

concert (1)

Many thanks to staff, students and Parents Association that helped bring together or support this years ‘musical and quiz evening’. The informal and relaxed atmosphere of this event was an ideal way to round off the term and bring to a close the academic year 2011/12. The performances once more showcased the broad talents within the community, from individual Piano, Harp or vocal performances to larger bands. Parents were also able to sample the great quality of the food that James, our Chef, produces for the students. Thank-you to Dr Kowalewski for his Olympic and Jubilee Quiz which ran throughout the event and Brother James for supporting and organising the musical elements.
