Autumn Term Assembly Presentations

The end of any term is always marked through the presentation of Academic and Sports Prizes. Well done to all those pictured below:

Day 6: Ski Trip

Final day of skiing and we couldn’t have had better weather! Beautiful views of Alpe d’huez. The trip ended with a presentation from the ski instructors, each student receiving a booklet with a grade based on their skiing over the whole week.

Day 5: Ski Trip

Usual day of ski lessons, weather snowing again!! Sunshine has been promised tomorrow. We are all very sad that we only have one more day of skiing left, excited for the end of week tests and presentation with the instructors!

Day 4: Ski Trip

Another day of heavy snow, all ski groups are loving being able to ski in the fresh powder, sometimes up to their knees! Beginners group are improving everyday. The Intermediate group have spent the day practicing their skills and playing some games- Cat and Mouse, Obstacle courses and even attempting the Slalom. Top group are exhausted after a morning of skiing all over the resort and spending the afternoon showing off their skills in the snow park. We are expecting some sunshine for skiing tomorrow!

Activities tonight includingLaser Quest outdoors, -10 degrees, hiding behind mounds of snow, an experience to remember! As well as some killer pool and pizza back at the hotel.

Day 3: Ski Trip

Second day of skiing, everyone looking forward to it. Weather cloudy in the morning, glorious sunshine in the afternoon.  snow conditions perfect – fresh and pristine.  Plenty of falls and embarrassing stories to tell. Beginners Group making great progress- went up their first gondola!!

A trip to the Invertigo in the evening and a few games of table tennis to finish the day.
