2011 feb SMCPA final minutes

I would like to say a massive thank-you to parents and students for their incredible support on Sunday. The entire stage, sub-stage and Gym were cleared of enormous amounts of material, two skips were filled! This work has meant that the College can now press ahead with the re-development of the stage area and the creation of the Drama/Fitness room opposite Biology.  This work would be impossible without your support – thank-you.

Following the dress rehearsal on Sunday and the first performance on Wednesday afternoon to Charlton House; there is a real sense that the ‘curtain is about rise’ on this years school production. Mr. Heron ( 3 Men & a Suit) has yet again provided the College with some stunning pictures of the cast. They capture the energy, enthusiasm and personalities of those involved. The Cast and Crew make me proud to be their Head Teacher and I have shared some elements of their journey through this years production on the blog, to allow you to see the hard work and dedication that they have put in. I must thank the staff and parents who have worked so hard to get to this stage. Dr Kowaleski, Mrs Hyde, Brother James and Mr Falvey who have spent long hours working to pull the show together. I hope you enjoy the production and I look forward to seeing you over the next few nights.
