Joe Moore – 42 Years of Service.

The College said farewell to its longest serving member of staff. Joe Moore started at the College in 1968 and has worked on the College estate helping to maintain the grounds and buildings. He is well known to several generations of families who have passed through and has always brought ‘character’ to the school. It was an emotional farewell to him and students and teachers gathered in the Dining Hall to present him with a retirement gift. Joe has promised to remain in touch with us and I value his knowledge of the site, especially the drainage system!

Charlton House Christmas Concert -2010

Nativity PicturesSilent Night (36)

There are times when a picture can say more than a thousand words. Congratulations to all the Charlton House children from Nursery to Year 6 that made the Nativity production such a memorable event. I have attached a folder (above) with a small collection of pictures taken from the event and from the Christmas Lunch.

Carols at Redcote Convent – December 2010

Redcote (3)

The Choir at Charlton House attended the Redcote Convent in Bitterne on Tuesday 14th December. The students sang beautifully and were joined by the Sisters singing familiar Carols. There were also some excellent individual performances on Violin, Piano and French Horn. Well done to all of them.
