Thanks to the small team that turned up last Saturday – we made good progress and have started prep work and painting.

Next meeting is this SATURDAY – 31st JULY (1pm – 5pm approx)    

Tasks will include:

1. Preparing areas for painting, washing down with sugar soap, rubbing down/sanding etc
2. Painting walls and ceilings
3. Replacing damaged parquet flooring    
4. Tidying up garden area outside of Lab
 
Any help in any areas will be most appreciated

Both the College and Charlton need your help with some ‘Maintenance Tasks’ over the Summer.

In recent years we have successfully assisted in the refurbishment of both the Chemistry and Physics Laboratories at the College with excellent results.

1. St Marys College – Biology Lab Refurbishment    

Mr Lickley and Mrs Weaver would like assistance in refurbishing the Biology Lab.
Help is required to dismantle and remove old benches, and to throw out unused equipment etc. We then need to prepare the area for painting.

First meeting to action this is: SATURDAY 17th JULY (1pm – 5pm approx)    

Help is required in all areas including general cleaning, paint preparation and painting etc  

2. Charlton House – General Tidy Up

Mrs Owen would like help in generally tidying up and throwing away many unused/old items in Charlton House .

NOTE: we will action this work in August as Mrs Owen is currently away.
