College Quiz Night

Despite the cold weather our Quiz was well attended and it generated much festive fun. It was good to welcome back a group from last year’s Leavers.

Advent Festival

A big thank-you to Mrs Barnett, Brother James and all the staff and pupils that made the Advent festival a success. It is always with great pride for parents and the schools to see the students demonstrating such a range of musical talents. A thank-you also goes to members of the PTA and staff admin that helped prepare and serve the refreshments at the end.

Message from Andrew Bulkeley, Chair

Dear Parents,

I would like to take this opportunity to remind you of our upcoming events and of our recent successes from the fireworks evening.

On the 11th December we will be holding a Quiz night in the College Hall from 7pm.

On the 15th December we will be holding a combined Charlton parents and St Mary’s parents meeting to close off 2009. Please join us as we set the plan for 2010.

Finally our Treasurer Jackie Long has confirmed that with your support we have raised over £2000 from the recent fireworks evening. This figure will be finalised at the next meeting.

Thanks to the wonderful volunteers who gave their time in the preparation and serving on the night and especially the Gallagher family for providing the fireworks and technician.

All the best for the festive season ahead.

I look forward to your continued support of the Charlton Parents’ Association in 2010.
